Home Telecare Service EvaluationNovadays evaluated the home telecare service in Madrid.

 

It was the most ambitious study to date on the matter and, perhaps, one of the most significant in the evaluation of social services. Novadays proposed and carried out an analysis based on methodological triangulation and the participation of different groups or agents involved in the service.

 

Therefore, Novadays conducted a face survey —at homes— to 1500 service users. It also surveyed all responsibles for telecare service at social services in the municipalities of the Community of Madrid. In addition, Novadays worked in groups with the heads of the companies providing the service, and with its managers in municipalities, as well as with other groups.

The evaluation gave a voice, effectively, to all people receiving or providing the service, which are those that truly knew their value and impact.
