Novadays has prepared for the Federation of Passenger Transport by Road (ASINTRA) the sector's technology roadmap. The objective of this Plan is the improvement of bus transportation through the development and deployment of technologies that benefit bus users, the companies providing the service and society as a whole.
To do this, Novadays performed two tasks: on the one hand, studied the current situation and possible future developments, and on the other, developed a strategic plan to achieve the objectives set by the association in this field. In the first part of the work, Novadays conducted a survey among bus companies, reviewed the existing technology offer for the sector in Spain and Europe and studied with experts for possible future development of these technologies. Novadays also analyzed the Spanish R&D+i and potential mechanisms for stimulating R&D that could be exploited by the Association.
In the second part, Novadays developed the Strategic Plan, setting a series of objectives and strategic lines and developing them as specific as possible through concrete actions to be carried out in the coming years. Each action identifies its leaders, businesses and other organizations involved and the means of financing each.
